<archon> what did you think of the new twilight movie, drlazyboy?
<DrLazyBoy> what's twilight? /me not the hippest on cultural references
according to college students and his son
<archon> it's like harry potter but gayer
<cheesy> Targetted more @ teen girls, I think
<cheesy> TBH, I don't think the movie really did the book justice
<archon> which movie?
<cheesy> I was really excited about it, but you really lost a lot of
 nuances of edward's character
<cheesy> Breaking Dawn
<archon> so you both read and watched it..
<cheesy> Maybe they'll pick some of that up in the 2nd part
<cheesy> Nah, I've not seen any of the movies
<cheesy> I did read the first book because a friend of mine squees about them
<cheesy> I wanted to put my eyes out
<cheesy> Actually, my sister too
<archon> you wanted your sister to put out?

<nug> what is the engine efficiency of a saturn v rocket?
<scromp> 6
<nug> you can't have 6
<nug> Given the temperatures reached, over 60% efficiency can be achieved
 with chemical rockets.
<nug> wow
<nug> Of the liquid propellants used, density is worst for liquid
hydrogen. Although this propellant is marvellous in many ways, it has a very
low density, about one fourteenth that of water.
<arcas> so store water and electrolize it on the fly
<arcas> and the neat part...you can burn the oxygen and hydrogen for
 thrust and re-form the water!
<nug> that is a neat trick
<arcas> well, it's not exactly rocket science

<squatch> there was an inquiry program on our as400 that shows inbound
items that do not have a warehouse locations written by our software vendor..
22,000 lines of code and it was buggy as hell.
<squatch> I rewrote the program using the same language as the original
program (RPG) and it is about 600 lines, has more features and has not failed
 in 1.5 years
<archon-> i am so turned on right now
